To celebrate the World Intellectual Property (IP) Day (26 April), together with IP Offices of other countries, the National Office of Intellectual Property of Viet Nam (NOIP) will conduct various high-profile activities to attract the public’s attention on IP-related issues, which include. 

- The Contest on "Infographics on Intellectual Property": This was a graphics contest which produces information and data in visual formats, presenting complex information by graphics in the form of short, clear symbols, icons, maps and technical diagrams; 

- The Competition and Conference on "Intellectual Property research by Students" at universities, namely the National Economics University, the Ha Noi Law University, the Foreign Trade University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; 

- The “Leveraging IP” Competition - in cooperation with the Foreign Trade University; 

- The Roundtable on Intellectual Property for journalists; 

- The bike Roadshow  by the Youth Union of NOIP to celebrate the World IP Day (26/4). 

In particular, in the week, NOIP set up IP desks to provide consultations on IP free of change for organizations and individuals in need of advices regarding the establishment and enforcement of IP rights. The IP desks will be held during 5 days from 21 to 25 April 2014 at 03 locations: the premises of NOIP and two Branch Offices in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. At these desks, organizations and individuals in need of consultations on relevant issues will get answers to their questions and direct assistance on procedures for registration of IP subject matters. NOIP’s staff will also provide information on the status of pending applications and ways to overcome shortcomings of those applications, if any. 

IP-related issues promotional materials and guidance produced by NOIP will also be provided at these IP desks.
